More cousins
We recently snapped a few pics of Ava and Corbin with "Nah-nee and Mats", as Ava calls them with her little lisp. :) She is thinks they are the greatest thing since sliced bread! (Of course, Kyle and I do, too.)

Worst blogger ever
Can't even believe I haven't updated this thing since November. Needless to say, much has occurred in the past few months. Christmas was so much fun this year since Ava was so into it. Every time we got into the car, she began begging to see "pitty lights." Every night from Thanksgiving on, we read "Rudolph, the rah-deeah" and "ki-mas" ("The Night Before Christmas") The drive to Alabama was less than pleasant (as you can imagine with a 2-year-old and 3 month old!) Once we got there, though, we had a blast. Ava is in love with Pops' cows, playing with her fun cousin, Brenna, and (as we found out) turning on Nanna's treadmill with no adult supervision--AHHH!! I must add that the trip home was much more pleasant. I think God knew we couldn't have coped with much more!
Here are the two partners in crime:

I am absolutely in love with this picture because it shows both the girls' personalities so well.
We did manage to leave milk and cookies for Santa (a 100-calorie pack, I might add.)

Daddy got Corbin to cackling--not just laughing--throwing his head back and cackling. There is nothing sweeter than watching your babies with your parents! :)

October
October has been quite a busy month for us. With a two-year-old, a newborn, and lots of family coming and going, we've been running non-stop. Ava is adjusting to Corbin as well as can be expected. And--drum roll, please.....she counted to ten all by herself today!! She's getting to be such a big girl. Well, here are some recent pics!
Here's the big girl at her 2nd birthday party. We celebrated none other than a Pooh cake--since she asks every five minutes of every day, "I watch..Pooh..pease."
We took this picture of her on her actual birthday...sporting the breath-taking jewelry and shoes from her friend, Sydney. :) She's measuring 36.75"...which is off the charts for height. Hmm. She definitely didn't get that from Mommy!
Here are two of my three favorite people. I just couldn't love 'em any more!
My two sweet babies with the "punt-nin", as Ava calls it.

Check out those killer blue eyes and that blonde hair!!
I thought I'd include a shot of the huge group we went Trick-or-Treating with. It was tons of fun for all of us! I apologize for the poor quality of the Halloween pics. I think my camera's about to bite the dust.
Does she look thrilled, or what? She was pretty unsure of the whole scary element of Trick-or-Treating. However, don't be deceived. By the end of the night, she was taking down candy faster than you could think possible!

He's here!
Well, on September 21st, our sweet boy finally arrived. Corbin Glenn is doing great, and he's a darling. His blonde hair is the craziest thing. We praise God that we have been blessed with two healthy children! Ava is very much in love with him...so much that she can't keep her hands and lips off of him! :) Thanks for all your prayers! Here are a few pics.

First time for everything
Our growing girl had another first this week: she went roller skating. Well...almost. We got the skates on her and had her stand up. She immediately cried to take them off. We made her stay in them long enough to take some pics, but then she was back in her favorite Nikes.

Overdue
Wow, am I ever overdue on updating! Since my last post, we've moved! It's been a slower process due to having a toddler and being pregnant, but our families have been spectacular in helping us out. Kyle's parents came down to help us paint and clean out the overgrown landscaping. His brother and our sister-in-law were wonderfully helpful through it all, too. Thankfully (for us, at least), they live here near us! Then the day we moved (with the help of some AMAZING Christian brothers), my parents came down. They helped us with SOO much--my dad drove down with his trunk full of tools so he could make necessary repairs. A week and a half after they left, my sister and her family came down for a visit. Ava had a blast with her cousin--it made me so sad that they aren't able to spend more time together.
Well, here are a few pics from the weeks past. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pics while family was here. I was too overwhelmed with unpacking and organizing the new house! I'll post them later when my mom and sis get the chance to email theirs to me.
Ava LOVES flowers. If we ever see one--real or picture--she cannot resist "smelling" it!
This is a picture from the day she chose her own outfit. Lovely color- and pattern-coordination, don't you think? AND, not to mention, the white Mary Janes to go with it!! :)
